Douglas K. Cummings, Esq.

 

Douglas K Cummings is the founding member of Cummings Law Firm, having over twenty-five years of legal experience.

Douglas is currently a member of the Salt Lake Community College Planned Giving Advisory Committee, and a Counsel for the Trustee of the Utah Pooled Trust, associated with Turn Community Services. He is prior Chairman of the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar, and the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council, a former member of Primary Children”s Medical Center Planned Giving Committee, and has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Arc of Utah, and the Foundation for Homecare and Hospice, sponsored by Intermountain Health Care. He has been selected as Utah’s Legal Elite. Prior to attending law school, Douglas was a Tax Accountant with Arthur Anderson in Washington, D.C.

Douglas and his wife, Kathy, have four grown children. He enjoys politics, travel, bicycling, skiing, gardening and photography. When it comes to travel, he hasn’t been everywhere, but it’s on his list.
